On the nose notes of delicate roses and peonies to begin with, which gradually intertwine with pronounced spicy fragrances. On the palate there is apple and pear together with peach and nectarine, followed by peppery flavours towards the end.

Made from vineyards with half flint and half clay giving a a rounded blend of the two. A focused wine with mineral and citrus notes and a long finish.

Aged for 10 months on the lees, subtle brioche notes and hints of vanilla linger on the palate. The essence of sweet melon integrates well with the oak elements giving the wine structure and depth.

Aged in older oak, this shows classic old world Pinot Noir notes. Cedar, pencil shavings and light red berry fruit. Savoury notes on the palate with black pudding and spices. The wine is well balanced and harmonious.

Following the harvest the grapes are left to dry out over the winter and the fruit is then macerated and fermented slowly over 40-60 days. This is a powerful red wine with succulent dark berry, dried fruit and sweet spice notes.

A nose reminiscent of an old-fashioned sweet shop: caramel, dolly mixture and pink wafer biscuits. The palate is more robust with notes of toffee, hazelnut and chocolate. A complex finish with pipe tobacco, replace embers and dried fruit.
