Les Caves Richemer SCA
The Caves Richemer vineyard spreads over 1.200 hectares bordering the Etang de Thau (south of France) and the Mediterranean Sea. The annual production is about 75.000hl, with 65% being white wines, 20% rosés and 15% of reds. The soil is mostly gravelly Pliocene soil and toe slope colluviums composed of pebbles, gravel or sand. The Agde-Marseillan sector lies in one of Hérault’s driest parts with a warm temperate Mediterranean climate. The vineyard also benefits from a maritime influence, reaching high temperatures in summer and mild temperatures in the evening.
