Furze Don’t Feed the Ponies Sandridge Barton is made from 60% skin-contact, barrel-matured Pinot Gris and 40% Madeleine Angevine aged in stainless steel, the blend was then matured for 24 months in old French oak, with some under flor.
Rich and oxidative, it’s layered with baked apple, bruised apricot and nutty depth, balanced by freshness and grip.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Nestled in a picturesque valley in the South Hams, Sandridge Barton Wines may appear to be a new face on the UK wine scene, but our Devon-based vineyards and winery have been growing grapes and making wine since 1981. Producing over 80 tonnes of fruit per year from our current 40-acre vineyards.
Set in a south-facing bowl and overlooking the River Dart, our vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Madeleine Angevine, Bacchus, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc.
