Chatus, a typical grape variety from the Ardèche, thrives on the sandstone terraces of the Cévennes. A beautiful, rich, and dense robe with brilliant highlights. A rich nose with a palette of black and red fruits, primarily raspberries and violets. The palate is rich, enveloped by angular and present tannins. A wine to be discovered, featuring an indigenous and authentic grape variety that truly expresses its terroir.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

The vineyard is located in the south east of southern Ardèche on the right bank of the Rhône valley.
It is located on clay-limestone, basalt and sandstone soils with the influence of a Mediterranean climate.
The harvest is made at night during the coolest hours, and a short maceration allows to obtain a beautiful deep pink color.
