NB Overproof Rum

The Nose:  Sugar cane, peeled banana, tropical fruits

The Palate:  Sugar cane, banana chips with hints of tropical mango and passion fruit.

The Finish:  Complex, robust and very flavoursome with a final rich lingering taste.

Try It:  Neat or over ice. Use for a very decadent Nuclear Daquiri or serve with ice cold grapefruit soda. Or, anyway you please!

The Production:  Our head distiller creates our rums from scratch, fermenting sugar cane molasses over an extended fermentation, 14+ days, with specially chosen yeast strains (Prometheus and “Banana Splitz” yeasts) and natural bacteria (for those in the ‘know’ – ripened dunder and muck). The rum is then distilled in our unique double-retort rum still, ensuring a depth of flavour that is unlike any other. Just pure, unrefined character at full strength, 63% abv.
