Golden Promise Edition showcases Aberargie heritage barley at its very best. Crafted with 100% Golden Promise barley and matured in a carefully balanced combination of 68% first-fill bourbon casks and 32% first-fill sherry casks, this expression allows the character of Golden Promise to take centre stage.

Rich and full-bodied, it delivers layers of warm buttery pastry, stewed apples, brown sugar and gentle baking spices, with a lingering, satisfying finish.

Bottled at 48.2% ABV, this is the strength at which Aberargie believe the whisky expresses its character at best.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

There has been over five generations of the Morrison family involved in the whisky business including grocers, brokers, blenders, bottlers and distillers, making them one of Scotland’s oldest whisky families. Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. It marks the Morrison family’s return to distilling since Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers, after nearly 25 years.
