Tasting Notes
The Brolio Chianti Classico is ruby in colour, with red berries, irises and violets on the nose, velvety tannins and well-integrated acidity in the mouth, as well as a long, persistent fruity finish.
Food Pairing
Brolio Chianti Classico goes wonderfully with meaty pasta dishes, such as wild boar tagliatelle or lasagne alla bolognese.
Winemaking
Sangiovese and other complementary grape varieties are fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C-27°C (75.2°-80.6°F) with skin maceration for 14-16 days.
Why we love this:
Brolio by Ricasoli is a delicious example of the quintessential Chianti Classico genre.
