Pale gold coloured, this white Coteaux du Giennois by Domain Berthier has typical aromas of white flowers,
citrus and exotic fruits (grapefruit, passion fruit). Coteaux du Giennois white is a fresh
and fruity wine with floral aromas, and notes of white fruits such as quince and pear.
The Sauvignon Blanc is gentle and supple on entry to the palate and is followed by a refreshing
acidity which provides good balance to the overall softness of the wine.
Delicate pressing of the grapes then the juice is
settled. The alcoholic fermentation starts
naturally under temperature control. The wine is
aged on fine lees for 9 to 12 months

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The domaine was created in the 1980s in Sancerre before it expanded with the acquisition of Domaine de Montbenoit in the Coteaux du Giennois. After travelling the world, the next generation has now returned to the family’s terroirs.
Clément, who has worked as a cellar master in the USA, is now responsible for vinification and sales at the domaine. Florian, building on his experience gained in Burgundy and New Zealand, is now in charge of the work in the vineyards.
