Tasting Notes

This magnum of white Sancerre Blanc has delicious mineral and citrus notes with hints of grapefruit, white flowers and flintiness, ending in a long finish. Also available in standard size.

Food Pairing

Enjoy with goats cheese tartlets or pork escalopes.

Winemaking

Made from Sauvignon Blanc in vineyards with half flint and half clay giving a a rounded blend of the two. The wine is aged on fine lees for 9 to 12 months.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

The domaine was created in the 1980s in Sancerre before it expanded with the acquisition of Domaine de Montbenoit in the Coteaux du Giennois. After travelling the world, the next generation has now returned to the family’s terroirs.
Clément, who has worked as a cellar master in the USA, is now responsible for vinification and sales at the domaine. Florian, building on his experience gained in Burgundy and New Zealand, is now in charge of the work in the vineyards.
