Distilled at Cameronbridge in 1984, this exceptional single grain Scotch whisky was matured for 42 years in a single bourbon cask before being selected and bottled by Fragrant Drops in 2026. Drawn from cask number 3028692 and released at 50% ABV, it offers a concentrated expression of long-aged grain whisky shaped by more than four decades in oak.

Colour

Deep amber-gold with a warm, honeyed glow and a coppery edge.

Nose

Perfume-like and elegant, it opens with honeyed vanilla and beeswax, then ripe pear and apricot drift in with a note of citrus zest. Subtle almond and marzipan deepen the sweetness, while whispers of oak and white spice lend grace. A luminous, refined nose that invites slow, admiring savoring.

Palate

Silky and refined, this 42-year Cameronbridge opens with honeyed sweetness and citrus zest, layered with vanilla and toasted oak. Notes of crème brûlée, peach, and almond drift into gentle spice—cinnamon, nutmeg, white pepper—carrying through a long, warming finish that coats the palate with a waxy, elegant grain.

Finish

An extraordinarily long, satin finish that cloaks the palate in honeyed vanilla, orange zest and ripe orchard fruit. Subtle spice unfurls with toasted almond and oak, leaving a warm caramel and brioche echo. Elegant, refined and utterly persistent, it fades into a soft ember of sophistication.
