Bollinger La Grande Annee Brut 2014 is a fresh, yet full-flavoured and opulent Champagne with a fine, long and toasty finish. Using only the finest first pressings of the grapes, Bollinger ferments the Still wine in small oak barrels, to increase the complexity and ageing potential. The depth of flavour makes this versatile with food, and it’s a luxurious treat with rich, celebratory dinners.

La Grande Année is the very embodiment of an exceptional, timeless champagne. Artisanal savoir-faire is at the heart of its production. One such artisanal technique is vinification, which takes place in oak barrels that are around 20 years old. This helps the wine develop complex aromas, and, thanks to micro-oxygenation, lends an extraordinary ageing potential.
At Bollinger, the 2014 vintage gave rise to a precise, fine and complex wine thanks to its minerality and exceptional intensity.

Made only from Grand and Premier cru grapes, La Grande Année is the embodiment of the carefully preserved traditional expertise of Champagne Bollinger. Vinified in oak barrels, sealed with natural cork and riddled by hand, this champagne has waited patiently for 10 years in Bollinger’s chalky cellars.

Champagne Bollinger has never abandoned vinification in oak, an ancient method that helps develop aromas of great finesse. After a prolonged ageing on its lees, even today every bottle of La Grande Année is riddled and disgorged by hand.
