A vibrant, thoroughly fresh nose full of ripe red fruits with hints of warm patisserie and a subtle touch of anise, the 18 months of American oak is sublimely judged. Lively on the palate too with masses of juicy dark fruit character, polished tannins and a cracking finish with nods to coconut, creamy toffee and vanilla pod to complement the generous fruit. Here’s a wine that balances tradition with modernity to perfection.
