This distinct Pinot Noir has just been awarded the Best Red Wine, Best Still Wine and Best Regional Wine in the UK at the 2023 WineGB awards!

In 2021, whilst blending, we came across four barrels of Pinot Noir from the 2020 vintage – these were exceptional, but needed more time to mature. This wine is a result of that patience, and this formed the start of our Sandridge Barton range.

This first-of-its-kind Pinot Noir is made with the best parcels from our Burgundian clones F105 and FR49. You’ll find elevated red fruits on the nose, with bright and concentrated red berries on the palate, supported by excellent acidity, soft tannins and a long mouth-watering finish.

Spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no filtration, 18 months in old French oak barrels and only 920 bottles produced

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
