Climate change has brought great benefits to Monthélie which has
similar soils to neighbouring Volnay and Meursault but ripens a little
later. This is a great success with masses of red and black cherry fruit, a
fine structure and fresh acidity.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
The DOMAINE FRANCK LAMARGUE is located in La Rochepot 15 km south of Beaune, it was created in 2005 by Franck LAMARGUE, who today runs the estate.
The vineyard extends over 12 ha and produces 13 controlled designations of origin.
The estate revolves around a main building, formerly the tile factory of La Rochepot, and has two vaulted cellars where the wines are stored in oak barrels.
Our wines are produced with respect and enhancement of tradition and terroir, with manual harvesting and aging in oak barrels.
